Default Probably the dumbest question ever....but
How do I know what transmission I have? I have a 2001 3.8l I have a 4l60e correct??

Correct. A4 93 and older were 4L60 (aka 700R4). 94+ got the 4L60E.

Manuel Trans were T5 for V6 and T-56 for V8.
