Jerking into gear (only sometimes...)
Ok so I have a 99 Camaro 3.8L, automatic.
For about 2 years now, every once in awhile (could be months between occurences) my car will start to jerk into gear. When it does happen, it happens after coming to a stop (toll booth, stop light, etc).
The car will jerk violently into 2nd, then a little less violently into 3rd, and so on. Getting less harsh each time it shifts.
I thought maybe the fluid was low, so I changed both the fluid and the filter. It still happens. Like I said, this only happens maybe ever few weeks and when it does, it doesnt stick around long.
For instance, last night I drove the car 50+ miles with no problems, then came to a stop light and it started acting up. When I got back in my car this morning, no issues.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this if it isn't low/old fluid?
Thanks
P.S...no transmission related error codes from the computer

tcc wire may be shorting, tps may be acting up once in a while. check the connector to the tps, you would need to test it when its failing though sooo that could be difficult. check wires to tps for any sign of damage and check the connectors, make sure they are connecting. check wires and connectors to the trans as well. i think tcc plug is on passenger side on 4l60e
