As I was double checking whether or not to use Synthetic ATF when I do the filter change, I found this site with great info and specs on the 4L60E transmission.
Well, I did not expect that there would be NO ONE in my area that sells the Amsoil ATF.
Q1: Other recommendations on which brand to get?
I know opinions will vary, so if there are any transmission mechs familiar with the 4L60E, your experienced opinions would be appreciated.
Q2a: How much do I need for a filter change?
b. Should I try to manually suck additional fluid out through the dipstick tube to change as much fluid as possible? I've read and YouTube'd various warnings not to do a power flush, but I'm just thinking of using the transfer fluid hand pump I got at Harbor to do my power steering flush.
