Exclamation dry bearing type noise T56

Hey,
I just bought a 96 z28 not too long ago and noticed that in first and second gear, when beginning loading the gear (accelerating), there is a noticeable noise sort of like a diesel truck sound. This also happens if shifting to early into low rpms. If driven between 1500 and 2000rpms, the noise pretty much goes away. There are no problems shifting or slipping. The transmission is real smooth. I drove the car from north fl to south fl and back with no problems. I haven’t had much time to take a good look at it myself (finals week ) but was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
Thank you

I also forgot to mention that the noise is slightly audible in neutral with the clutch engaged. If gas is slightly pressed and let go, the noise is apparent. If the rpms increase the noise almost goes away. And if the clutch is disengaged, the noise goes away.
