That would one of the ones I was warned about. I was not looking for a heavy clutch when I built my car but every post I found from people that put the stock OEM style clutch in their car were very unhappy about it. Even the people that put in the AC delco clutch said it has a bad feel to it. The centerforce clutch was the cheapest clutch I could find that did had 10 posts warning "Don't buy this clutch". Heck even the Spec stage two for the V6's gets a lot of hate although you can find some that like it.

I am not saying there is no chance that bleeding will help, Air in the line will make the clutch feel spongy but your system is self bleeding I would not put a huge effort into bleeding it. If there is air in there it should work its way out with normal driving.

you also may try a power bleed... the 4th gen t5s and t56's have a problem with air pockets... pcokets that cannot be eliminated with a standard bleed... this style FORCES fluid in first to push out the bubbles and then its a standard bleed after that, aparently something is positioned in such a way like if you put a cup upside down in water... air will get trapped at the top, youd have to force water up the cup to get the air out, it works the same way ( althought im sure its not straight up and down you get the point,,, powerbleeds are typically very cheap at any local mechanic

Please let us know what they say. I have power bled a lot of systems and have no idea how you would power bleed a system that is not designed to be bled at all.

The FSM calls for removing the slave cylinder from the bell housing without disconnecting the hydraulic line, and then pumping the slave cylinder by hand till all air bubbles come out into the fluid reservoir. Good luck in doing that.
