Default Automatic to manual

What would it run me to do this?
1996 camaro rs 3.6 auto
And where would I even start?

Moved this thread from the 3rd gen projects to 4th gen transmission section, since a 96 is a 4th gen. Also, your engine is a 3.8.

its a pretty extensive change. to do it right your looking at changing gage cluster, computer, console, under hood and under dash wiring, then theres the trans and clutch. be cheaper and save time to sell the one you have when you find one with what you want.

Help a buddy do this once on a fox body. Spent about $3800. I wouldn't do it again. Too much work involved just too have a manual for me.

Yeah the way it sounds its. Not worth it, and all the other camaros in my area just don't match up to what my camaro looks like right ow, so that's something I will hold off on, and yeah ment to put 3.8 just typing a little to fast and not checking for error
