Default 98 Z28 with stock 3.73 gears?

I purchased a 98 camaro with a LS1 & T56 for parts. Im in the process of getting rid of the rear end and want to verify that the car has the 3.73 gears and limited slip i think it has. the rear end has a code of 613C on it and is a 10 bolt.

turn one rotor, other turns the same way => limited slip

3.73 gears? I only found one site where 613C means anything... and its for a ford light truck...
Rear Axle Tag Codes for Light Trucks Drive Axle Gear Ratios
figured i should see more then one for such a common rear end.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks!

Pop the cover off and read the gear ratio on the end of the ring gear, or count the gears and divide, or you could do the turn and count method with the cover still on. But, since you're selling the rearend, taking the cover off is the best way to go. If I were going to buy a rearend, I'd first want to give it a good inspection inside anyway.

Could check the RPO sticker too. GU7 would be for 3.73. Then I'd double check just in case some one changed it.

look for the rpo codes in the glove box or the door jam. should be a sticker with a bunch of letters and numbers. 323 is very common in the 4th gens.

GU5 3.23 Rear
GU6 3.42 Rear
GU7 3.73 Rear

Stickers tell what was, but not always what is now.

4th gens didn't come standard with 3.73. All m6 cars had 3.42, A4 cars had either 2.73 or 3.23.
