Default 95z28 automatic

This car is great but my boy brought it home and it is stuck in forward. It is not the linkage or the shifter.

The trans is stuck in forward but I do not know which gear. It is not the shifter or shifter cable that much I know anybody with any suggestions

when you shift the car does the linkage at the trans move???

Like BC stated, when shifting does the linkage cable move from the linking bracket to the tranny?

so if you unhook the cable at the trans, the shifter arm on the trans will not shift? um before you go under a car and take it out of park make sure the tires are blocked really good so it wont move.

If the linkage arm on the trans won't budge, something with the valve body is likely to be messed up/broken/disconnected/jammed. Did I miss any /'s?

Yes we jacked it off the ground and the shifter and cable move freely

The shifter,cable and trans linkage all move like they are suppose to
