Ive always preferred a manual transmission to an automatic any day, and would love to have the 6spd in my Z28 as opposed to the 4L60E (if I'm wrong about what model auto tran is in a 02 Z28 plz correct me) but I am not sure if the cost involved would be worth the swap. Ive had several people tell me to just have my auto tranny rebuilt and install a shift kit and bump shifter instead to take care of my "gear control issues"... any opinions?
