Way overdue on those shocks!

If the car is not sagging, then your springs are likely ok.

You should also consider the new Koni STR.T shocks, about the same price range as Bilsteins.

Where is the best place to look to buy the OEM mounts?

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I bought some Bilstein shocks and need a spring seat as well and I'm thinking about going with the Moog ones. These should fit with the Bilsteins correct? Also, are the Moog seats just a 1-piece item or do I need to buy something else besides the seat itself? I'm just curious because the Monroe Strut-Mate Coil Spring Insulators (904962) appears to be a 2-piece component on Summit.

Just a bit confused as to what I all need to complete the whole new assembly. I would like to put the new assembly together before ripping the old one out as I don't plan on reusing any of the original parts. So far I have:
-Bilstein shocks
-Strano Springs
-New upper shock mounts
-New upper shock insulators

Also, is a dust boot required? And any brand recommendations on those?

Thanks!

as long as you got the correct shocks with the things on the shock to hold it from falling all the way. what happened to the ones off the shocks on the car?

Everything I got, I order from Strano so I'm assuming its all correct, and the rear shocks/springs went on great. I was thinking new spring seats would come with the Bilsteins, but I was definitely wrong on that end. The factory spring seats are still on the car - along with the original DeCarbons. I would prefer to install a whole new assembly as some of the original parts are fairly rusted thanks to good ol' MN winters.

Planning on putting the new assembly together, removing the old, and installing new as one unit that way I can start work on it before pulling the car out of storage (hopefully next weekend).
