Default k-member experiences

hey guys i am looking at tubular k-members for my 94 z28 and i am just looking for any experience or recommendations on these. the motor going in it will be either turbo or supercharged 383 lt1, i want it to be mainly a summer toy taking it to autocross and the drag strip every now and then. i would also like to reuse the factory power steering. any insight into brand preference (UMI, BMR, etc.), strength, fitment, etc. would be awesome, thanks

Stick with Turbo. Going with a supercharger will be at least 10x the amount of money and labor. Not to mention the fabrication needed to get it installed. From what I've seen, both UMI and BMR make good k-members and are comparable in quality. Check out Summit for general pricing, but ALWAYS be sure to go to the manufacturer's website to see if they are having any current deals on shipping, discounts, or combination orders

I have a UMI k-member, it went in really easy and it looks good.
