Default Any experiences with headlight covers?

Ordered off Ebay a set of headlight covers for my 82 Z. Got them in today, and they just dont want to seem to fit right. I dont know if its the aftermarket replacement nose or the cover. Im slowly sanding material off the edges to get a nice flush fit, but are these just generally a poor fit? Hope I can get em to work , cause they look bad azz!

Yeah. My car is white with black accents and the black out light covers look really sharp. These Wade light covers dont fit worth a shiznizzle and Ive had to trim a good 1/8 of an inch from one of the corners to make it fit. They just look sloppy.
