Default What's the best LS swap for my 99 V6?

I bought a 99 camaro standard with a v6. Looking to swap out with something like an LS6. Just looking for advice on how compatible it would be. Thanks in advance.

What are your driving factors to do a V6-V8 swap? I hope it is not to save money. You can buy a car with a blown V8 in it for much less then you can buy the parts needed to do the conversion. The below link gives you an idea on the costs involved. There was a time when these cars where so expensive a swap could make sense but now? I see V8 rollers all the time. Buying a camaro with a LS1 is one of the cheapest ways to get an aluminum LS motor. It is not uncommon to see a roller that is just missing the engine and trans for around $1,000. When you add up all the parts that are needed for the swap, $1,000 is going to look super cheap.

If you have a running V6 just drive it or sell it. A running V6 is worth more then a not running V8. car that has been wrecked but has a clean title and swap the front end.

Best LS swap is sell your V6 and buy a Z28,cheapest easiest way and far less headaches.
In fact I went that route to upgrade from an LT1 Z28 to an LS car, sold my '93 Z and bought an '01 SS no muss no fuss no regrets.
In the end you'll also have a car that holds more value should you ever decide to sell it.
