if your lowered i would stay away for that exhaust. it hangs low, does not tuck in the shaft ally like stock. for that kind of bucks look at corsa.

Craby, you are talking about the Bassani I assume? I guess I didnt think about that, maybe Ill just do Pacesetter Ceramic Mids, the Cat I just bought and an SLP kit of some sort then.... That would be the best blend of simple, emissions friendly and good sound you think?

I finally resolved my exhaust leak issue, I had to cut off the bell section of the y-pipe for the drivers side manifold and weld on the bell from my stock y-pipe to get it to seal. (I had to angle the piece slightly to get it to sit flush)

I test drove the car, got a temp tag and took it to work to see how she was doing. I have been driving it the last few days and everything seems great. I am going to attempt to pass emissions on Thursday, so that will be the real test...

Anyway, I snapped a few pics when I got to work because I was so excited to have her out of the garage!

Ok peeps, I need help, I failed my emissions test again!! My H/C's are at 2.22 and the limit is 1.2, my CO was way under (like 3.4, limit 15/16) and my NOx was a little high at like 2.4ish (limit is 2.5)

I have already swapped back to the stock T/B, I know I need to "rig" my fans to get the engine temp up higher and I have a small vapor leak to fix... other than wiring the air pump to run for the test, putting in 85 octane and some denatured alcohol, what Im out of ideas...

Please help!

Well I was advised on a few things to check on the car that could contribute to my high H/C's, so I started with checking for fuel vapor leaks. I did the trap door mod because I was not dropping the tank just to check for leaks. I also plan on swapping to a hot wired Walboro 255 at some point, so it made sense to do this mod. Im not worried about cutting the car, its not some high option/rare car.

I also took the opportunity to install some additional sound deadener while I had everything out. I used Peel-N-Seal from Lowe's.

Anyway, I didnt see any leak points visually, but here are some pics.

I used aluminum for the cover plate, I had some clean, fairly thick pieces laying around.

Test fit:

Holes drilled.

I then used some foam weatherstrip to seal the door.

Somehow I didnt take a completed photo, but I screwed the cover down with small self tappers and put a piece of peel-n-seal on the top to keep it from vibrating.

Next up is to wire a manual switch for my air pump and install a fan controller so I can get the water temp up for emissions...

Craby, I appreciate it, my issue is that I installed a new charcoal canister because the old one failed.... it was leaving charcoal in the line, plugging it and the soleniod up, so I had the EVAP system deleted in my tune (although it is all still physically hooked up)... am I screwed now without getting a purge solenoid and tuning it back in?
