Got around to doing the hatch struts today. Of course always on the days I want to paint, it's windy as hell.

It always rains when I want to paint. Like yesterday, I wanted to paint the Camaro part on my grill... instead I ended up painting my keyless remote. Heh.

Lol. I think wind is worse...all kinds of stuff blows around and then gets stuck in the paint. And then all the paint you want to go on something gets blown away in the wind...

Default Parking Light Hell

Ha ^ Those wheels aren't in great shape. The outer clear coat on them is coming off. They're gonna get painted black eventually.

So I bought my second set of parking lights the other day. Got these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_6646wt_1165 This is the third (and hopefully last) set of lights I've gone through. The first set came with the car. They were the smokey lense black housing set. They ended up cracking at the corner and held water. I took them out and drilled drainage holes in the bottoms. Fixed the water issue, but not the cracking issue. So I bought another identical set. But this set held water even worse. I didn't bother drilling holes though. When I tried to dry them out with a heat gun, an instant white spot appeared on just the one lens. SO. I bought ANOTHER set. This time I drilled 2 drainage holes in each and siliconed all around the edges to make sure it doesn't leak. The problem with these is that the sockets can't turn around to lock because the plastic is too thick. One problem after another. Because of the past water issue, the one side marker socket is now corroded and does not work properly. I managed to fix it temporarily, but it still needs replaced eventually.

Need to take pics of them later installed, the sun is just too reflective right now.
