Quit having taste! I'm getting some front leather sport seats..its undecided between 2 right now. And because the rear seats are going to be fugly with black leather in the front, I was planning a seat delete instead of spending money trying to make them look good when realistically, no one is going to be sitting back there.

Hm, I'm not sure I would call it 'better'. The cam causes it to do some goofy things on start up, but it only lasts a few minutes. I think it's something that just needs tuned out because I kinda changed enough stuff on her and the computer gets a little confused. There's definitely a power difference though with it. And she feels much smoother as far as acceleration goes. The cam was worth investing in. Plus she sounds cool when idling hot, haha. I love the cammed sound.

Ugh, so an update on the ticking problem. Tom, the ex-GM guy that now works at Toyota (poor guy) thinks it's a lifter as well. He said to not worry about it unless it gets louder. I'm going to hopefully pick up a new set of lifters tomorrow sometime in preparation for the tear down. I'm not sure when it will happen, but all I'm doing now is keeping an ear out for any changes in the sound. If anything, it will be done over the winter if the sound does not change at all. And no racing and playing around for me anymore until it gets fixed. Don't want to make anything worse.

For some reason, your Engine Rebuild link on your sig is going to your youtube exhaust video.

Question regarding the hood struts again...did you not take them off at all when you painted them? As in, they were both still holding the hood up while you painted?

Thanks, I'm not sure why it was doing that, the coding was right...oh well. I fixed it (hopefully). But yeah, I kept them on and just covered and taped stuff off. I'm going to do the rear struts, but I asked Case to help me with that one. The hatch is kinda on the heavy side if it decides to come crashing down...

I never posted this one, but it goes along with the other videos. Who says a V6 can't sound good? She's deceiving at low rpms.
