as for handling, the v6 is preferred for auto-x. with the exact same upgraded suspension, it will handle better. less weight and a closer to 50/50 weight balance. not to mention that it wont try to spin around as much

WTH thats my specialty ordered engine.... i told them not to leak the build pictures.... dang, well i guess now i dont have to buy that football feild size car cover,,, the secrets out...

your mean dk. dr i feel your pain. its a bummer when u can look at it but cant drive it. took me 7 weeks to get all the bugs worked out on mine and i was a grumpy old man. lol.

Well we did some work on the engine today. I'll have to post pics tomorrow (technically later today). We found some good things...and some not good things. But so far everything bad we've found is repairable. I'm definitely getting grumpy over this. I knew it was going to be stressful...but wow. It's more stressful than I thought. I'm kind of on a tight deadline and it drives me crazy when I see other f-bodies out on the road enjoying the nice weather...and I'm stuck in my big ugly Bomber.

Pics from yesterday! Like I said, we found some good things like the lifters are all good and the front and rear main seals were actually good. But we also found some not good things such as a LOT of build up and gunk from her overheating. Also take notice of cylinder number 4...not the greatest.

Yeah we think it's the ring too. It's getting bored as part of the rebuild.
