Nothing like a fresh engine ! Break it in slow. Brings back memories. Alot of sweat ! Enjoy !

im shooting to have it to her house by next weekend, and in the car and running by the end of the week. she entered into a car show for the 24th and it will be my job to be sure she makes it there. those might still be the first 100 miles put on the engine

Yeah, I wanted it to be kind of her 'debut' it's just a small show that's being held at my school hosted by some local car club. I thought it would be a good step in the direction to get warmed up to enter in bigger shows maybe, like the GM Nationals next year.

Well, there was a little bit of a mishap last night. Broke a piston ring. The universal piston compressor did not work all that great. So I had to order a new set of rings just for one cylinder. The rest of them Case managed to get in carefully. The crank, cam, and timing set are all installed along with the 5 pistons now. More work is being done tonight. Engine should be dropped in Saturday.

I'll upload them tomorrow. I left my camera at Case's so he could take pics of his progress after I left and then take pics tonight of whatever gets done.
