Uneventful update. Been cleaning like mad. And not getting very far. Just have some pulleys done, the lower intake, and most of the upper intake with a few other random parts. The upper intake is taking awhile since I have to make sure it's perfect for painting later. These are some cleaned pics. I managed to get some of the metal to shine through on the upper intake.

Might not look like much, but all this stuff was coated in oil and crud.

Haha, trust me, I can't wait until this is done and over. I hate driving the Bomber. It sucks. No one gives a time of day to a bright ugly blue 1990 Blazer...not to mention I miss the superior handling and braking of the 'maro.

Well I already have headers and the muffler with dual tail pipes. That's clamped together, which is going to get welded in this rebuild process at some point. I was hoping to replace the front struts, but I need to make sure I have enough money to get the rebuild done right. It's basically just the rebuild, which is a huge task just in itself. I think after it's done I'm going to want to take a break from any project pertaining to this car and just enjoy driving her for problem-free for awhile.

Lol, no LS in her. She's staying a six, a worked six. I plan on getting an LS when she gets paid off, which is like 2 years.

So I worked on the car most of the day today. I started working on the wire looming. I finished cleaning up the intake, cleaned the water pump, and cleaned off a couple hoses. I also power washed the bottom of the bay. Even using a ton of Simple Green, it was still no match for the amount of oil that was caked on there. But it's better than what it was. Here's some wire looming pics

I think the pink looks pretty hot. There's other pink 'tags' on some of the black looming which indicates which will get replaced. Might not do them until the engine is back in though, to try to keep it fairly clean. I also got a wonderful delivery today from FedEx. It was all my gaskets and parts I had to order. So I took some inventory. Here's pretty much what I have so far. I also picked up some black engine enamel today and ordered a new EGR gasket.
