I sure hope I don't have more money tied up in mine than your 3 My 69z needs a new trans and a paint job, but I have to finish this project first

Anywho, updates for today: The wiring in the car is finished! The only thing left is the motor harness when I put it back in along with the computer. I also installed the msd wires, coil, and plugs along with the egr delete. The motor mounts are in the clamshells and the tubular k member is attached to the motor. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it all together. I also started mounting the abs delete, so much fun stuff!

Here are some more pics for updates. Trans is mated to engine, longtubes on, reinstalling front suspension to the k member.

Subscribing to this thread, looks like a good build you've got going on here. I'm thoroughly impressed with how quickly you're progressing. Or maybe I just work that slow when I'm working on my car haha

I also ordered the SJM abs delete/line lock so I can save some weight there.
where did you get your EGR delete stuff? I've been wanting to do that on mine, since the EGR doesn't work anyway.

Thanks! I've been working on the car whenever I am home from school (basically just weekends) I decided against go fast parts for now until I have all the bugs out of the swap, so maybe thats why it seems fast

I ordered mine from here: 1993 - 1997 LT1 EGR Block-Off Plates | WS6store.com
They have a perfect fit and look great (although they cant be seen since they are on the back of the intake manifold lol)

Major updates for today! I got the lt1 in the car and all bolted up! It looks good sitting in there I tested some of the electronics and most worked. The things that aren't are the tail lights (i just plugged my 93 harness into the 97 body harness), locks, and windows. Maybe because my battery was pretty dead they didnt want to work but once everything is buttoned up we'll see. I was thankful my walboro 255 primed up properly and had great pressure at the rail (only checked by pressing the schrader valve, lots of gas spewed out at a high pressure)

Ready to go in:
