Getting started on painting. The doors and hatch were taken off so the jams could be painted properly. They'll be painted off the car and put on after the hood, fenders, and bumpers are painted.

 

What up man? I didn't know you were on this site...looks like the project is coming alone nicely!

 

Been awhile since I updated...the car should have been done months ago, but the body shop decided to not work on it and continue to tell me they were. So I took it to another shop and they're going to finish it up. Here's how it sits now:


Also got some new tires...335/35/17s and 275/40/17s:


The go on these wheels...17"x13" ZR1s. They're getting powdercoated gloss black as I type this:

Home from the body shop...just a few things to wrap up before I start her up.


Got the 335s mounted on my new wheels:


My 1k mile front hubs were destroyed in the accident, so I needed to replace them. Decided to replace the wheel studs with some ARP wheel studs:

 

That thing is looking awsome!

 

The minitubs were totally worth it...335s tuck in real nice.
