I'm really busy during the week, and the car is at a friend's shop 27 miles away, so I only get to go down there on weekends to make it worth the trip (and gas).

I'll get some pics up this weekend if I finish the welding on the minitubs and the cage (finally got it cut out of my T/A).

Ok, I finally have some progress on the car that is picture worthy. Got the cage in and completely welded into the car. I am now working with my dremel to clean all of the welds up, since this will be the second time this cage has been welded and overlapping welds look really bad.

I also took the leap and started cutting for the t-tops. I've spent weeks debating this, and I finally decided to take the plunge.

As you can see, the brackets for the t-top holders are already there.

Started working on molding the metal to form what a t-top car would look like. I am highly satisfied with how the rear passenger side turned out. This one side too me 6 hours to get perfect. I'll be painting the metal with POR15 and then putting silicone down to hold the molding.

Finished the T-Tops, but don't have any pics. I'll get some tomorrow before I paint.

Got prepped for painting today. Had to clean ALL of the dirt and grime from the car, and after almost 20 years of being neglected, there was a lot to be cleaned.

Where the grease/grime was the worst, the cleaner stripped the paint right off the car.

The rear end is also out of the car and at a speed shop to be rebuilt...so far, all I know is that it needs a new axle, not sure what else yet.

The build looks to be coming along nicely. That's going to be a lot of work, but worth it.
