Nice work. My cars' nose needs that treatment for sure.

So after cleaning my wheels a few times, the "chrome" paint started to come off, so I took them off and repainted them a different color. 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear for all of them. I like them better this way and really makes the car stand out. Center caps still need to be painted, but depending on how they look, I may leave them off. Also, does any one know if SS springs off say 98+ later Camaro work on the 93s? Springs are on the list to be replaced and if I can upgrade, I'd rather just do that.

I like the Wheel Color MK. how did the centercap turn out? they just dont look right without them. Maybe if you paint the hub in the center where it shows and put some caped black lugnuts on them or something...

Thank you. I like them this way better and they really stand out. All ready got a few comments on them. But I haven't been able to get around to getting them sanded and painted. Been working on a four wheeler we've had sitting at the house for the last year or so. Got it running. Just gotta get it to idle correctly, get it to not shut off going in reverse and find a battery. Other than that, it's a blast to run.

Any ways, I've thought about it painting the inside hub, but like the caps, just haven't had to time to try it. Too much to do and so little daylight. Haha.

So finally got a day off work without having to do any other work. I sandblasted my center caps with this fancy sandblaster that my dad got from work for $20...well free...the gloves cost money.

First couple coats.

I'll have pics of them finished and on the car tomorrow. Also, since I was like 500 miles from needing a oil change, I decided to do it today also and ended up getting destructive and curious so I cut open my old oil filter, this is what I found.

Dirty, dirty filter.

Mobil 1 filter out of the Camaro. Was a pain in the butt to get apart...but I pulled it off. Hasn't even been 3k miles since the last change but it's made more than a few 160+ mile trips from college during that time, so that might explain why it's so black.

MK your bumper repaint looks fantastic! any sanding/prep tips or pointers on doing my own? well, ok my whole car needs to be painted, but the front bumper is the worst.

Take your time and be patient, especially when you go to prime and paint. Don't wanna rush things or you'll get more runs in the paint than needed. I always start with 220 grit wet sanding to get clear coat and paint off, but don't go any deeper than you have too. If you have spider cracks just go until you can't see them any more. High build primer is a must in my opinion. 320 wet sanding after primer to smooth things out. Then paint and clear. If you end up having runs take some 800 or 1000 grit sand paper and wet sand the runs. Always go horizontally against them, not vertically. I think that's pretty much a simplified version of how I do it. If you get the chance, log onto Powerblocktv.com. I believe they have a few episodes that go more in depth with painting.
