Default How to install jack for 97 camaro

I have figured out how to put the tire back in but anyone have a pic of how the jack goes in before the tire. Or a diagram

i have a 98, and i'm not sure if they are the same, but you should be able to put the jack in after the tire basically, just line it up with the nut, and screw the little nut onto it. i think there is a plastic piece that either goes over or under it. i'm pretty sure it's under.

Talking Found it

I looked in the owners manual and 5 or so pages before where the index talks about spare tire, there is a detailed diagram. Wish the first day i looked in the index it would of led me to this but it is a few pages before.......anyways it mounts after you put in the spare.....it mounts on the floor on the step up right in front of the tire. It has a long bolt with a plastic **** on it that runs through the jack and screws into the floor. To find it you kinda have to pull the carpet back a little and you will see a plastic cover and some anti vibration foam mounted to the floor.......that is where it goes

I was just thinking that this should be a sticky how-to with pics and everything.
