Just unboxed these.

 

Guess it’s a good thing I checked this while I had it out of the car 😬 I’d say it was about to fail any second!

 

with all the metal in the system you better change oil pump and all bearings.

 

I have a new crank kit with all new bearings. New cam bearings installed. Brand new oil pump. New camshaft. Rods and pistons were cleaned at the machine shop. Had ARP rod bolts installed while they had them and had the rods resized. New lifters. Reusing the pushrods and roller rockers and my Lunati valve springs but I cleaned them all up and they all look fine. Only thing left to replace is that damn oil pump drive gear.

 

Dang, glad you noticed that pump gear! That would have beyond sucked to get it back together and have that fail right away...

Nice! Founders is for sure the best value when it comes to suspension parts for these cars, that's what I have running in mine. I've had my SFCs sitting in a box in my garage for like 4 years LOL
