Like a rock baby, lol.

Just found out about your accident, glad you're alright. Doing an LT1 swap would be awesome, and I agree, I couldn't part with a vehicle I've taken apart and built back together (My 1982 Silverado). So kudos for being loyal to your car.

I was just thinking, for your parts list for an LT1 swap, did you include fuel pump? The 3.4 is throttle body injected, whereas the LT1 is port injected. The LT1 runs substantially higher fuel pressures than the 3.4.

Yeah for sure. When it comes down to it, I'll have a complete donor car for parts. Ive seen 3 or 4 very good deals on donor cars. Just waiting til fall when everything slows down and I have the money backed up for it.

If my budget allows for it, I'm going to get an SS hood and wing and repaint the whole car around when I do my motor swap.

Just to keep things accurate GM never put a Throttle body V6 in a Camaro. In 84 the V6 was carbed and in 85 the 2.8 got Multi point fuel injection. Both the 3.4 and the LT1 run about 40 PSI of fuel pressure. The reason the pump and the fuel lines need to be replaced is volume. The 3.4 fuel system was designed to support 160 HP while the Lt1 was designed to handle 285. More HP requires more fuel everytime

The only TBI in any Camaro was the lower end 305's in the 3rd gens 87-92.
