that sucks dude, I'm sorry. I think you should keep the 35th-style wheels though. They look great and you don't see them very often.

Yeah hopefully this one can be repaired. It's scarred up pretty good on the inside of the wheel

Curious though what caused all those splits on the sidewall of the tire. The crack in the wheel had nothing to do with that.

The shop who discovered the cracks in the wheel for me said that the tire was at 19psi and that running low pressure would cause premature sidewall failure.

Yes, that could do it. At 19 psi, you shoulda noticed the tire squat. Give your car a once-over when standing around at the gas station.

Got my wheel fixed. A friend of mine has a welding shop and he welded it up for me.

Ive had wheels welded up before, its not a big deal. The weld itself will be stronger than the rest of the wheel. so, whats the time line for seein the wheels and some new tires on that ride?
