Hey chaotic do you by chance have a picture of how to wire the resistor? I am still pretty new to electrics and I think I know where you are talking about but I just wanna double check.

 

I don't have a picture but it's really simple. All you do is cut the power wire for the gauge lights, then wire one side of the resistor to one side of the cut wire, and the other side of the resistor to the other side of the cut wire so that it completes the circuit.

 

More news. I upgraded to MSD ignition coils, Accel 8mm plug wires, and AC Delco Rapid Fire spark plugs. 4 out of my 6 old spark plugs were either cracked or the tips were chipped off. Now the Camaro runs like a scalded ape!!! I'm so excited. Probably the best spent $250 on my car so far!!!

By the way. I also put msd coil packs in my car with 8.5 wires and ngk plugs. Car runs like a champ. So I feel you on the best $250 you ever spent on the car.
