94 being converted to 98. (Wiring help needed)
Seems simple right? grab the parts.. swap the front clip, toss an LS in it... And then you get the crazy idea to swap dashes and as much interior as possible. That's how my journey started. Ive had the 94 Z28 for a while now, ran good, and didn't really have any issues.. Until a 98 SS that was smashed in the rear fell into my lap a couple of weeks ago. I pulled every part I could off of it to toss into the 94. Part of that being the dash. With the dash, I was forced to cut the wiring right at the driver's seat due to the mangled metal from thereon. (Bad enough my UPS guy thought it was an RX7 from a distance.) That being said I then decided I needed to keep the rear half of my 94 harness. Imagining this would be a simple connect the matching wires idea was stupid!!
Needless to say, I suck with wiring diagrams. Is there anyone out there who can decipher/decrypt the two sets of wires that run from the dash to the rear under the door jam on a 98 and tell me which wires to mate those to on the 94? There seems to be more wires on the 98 which had less options than there was on the 94.
