Nah I can't say I'm familiar with where marshall's is but i'm sure i could it. Haha yeah having a meet on a day like today would have been a disaster with these cars. Anyway, yeah that sounds like a good idea if you could just let me know when the next one comes up that'd be good.

Anything new on the ride, Socom? I know I've done a hefty amount of work in my car lately. Mostly visual but I'll start with motor mods and a tear down when you tell me what I'm going to spend to replicate your engine bay :P Except for the intake. I love my CAI! Haha. So what will all this set me back? Including suspension?

I probably have around 3 grand into the engine (went through a set of valves due to bad adjustment) and another grand into the suspension,

have you run your car in the 1/4 mile yet?

and was this build worth it to you for the performance you gained?

Sometimes a rebuild is not about performance gains but about reliability. Not sure what Socom had in mind with his build here but from the looks of it, minor gains and alot of life back into his engine.

Before the rebuild I ran a 17.3 and afterwards I ran a 16.3. That is a whole second without touching the trans, which still has 200k miles on it. I hope to be getting a new trans and putting a slight stall and a shift kit in, or rebuilding the current one but still stalling and installing a shift kit. I also plan on adding a little spray for some pick-me-up so she will move when I want her to

I think the rebuild was worth it. The engine feels a lot better being bored out and having 0 miles on it (well around 4k now). I hope this motor will last another 200k like the last one did
