? is there anything i am missing for the tune up on this ls1 anything i should replace then ,then trans service will hold off on till spring, but this week with temps up there got to do the flush atleast
Don't forget to change the blinker fluid and switch out the winter air in your tires for summer air soon. Probably a good time to swap out those muffler bearings too.

so then after the tune up another things the trans service mabey, i added air yesterday 35 pounds seems good for me in all my 4th gens just feels right at 250lbsmy buddie who is helping me with the exhaust an plugs said something about the cats but think will leave them alone for now,car needs a good cleaning an a few 8 coats of wax ,enjoy the warm weather east coasters,do you know i have not had to put air in my 95 tires in a long time i check them each year just great in 10 years 2 sets or 3 check the air there allways right where i left them,35lbs

must be the falken tires ,wich will be going to bfg now couse there price has gone up ,falken has been sponcering alot of racing has coused my $300.00 tires to go to $500 but if i can find them do like the BFG on the white one..

I Did also note doing clear turns an parking lights led an new set of head lights when the time is right ,my clears tail lights on the 95 are coming off one thing i am keeping are t top shades an the clear tail lights cant find them anyhere for what i paid,i am kinda into making these cars look more retro or modern as they still are kinda

so i could not pass up this deal i think it was i got 1 panhard bar 2 trailing arms greaceable , sub frame connectors for both sides weld in type an a strut tower brace for $315.00 shipped to the door ,you can pay $300.00 for the sub frame braces,we got a piece of metal from home depot to make it a 3 way set up ,made in USA too founders performance ,

I am thinking about getting the koni street shock for the front ,anything we know is better then the 16 year old parts on there now,but first will be to black out the whole underside on the car ,to show hardly no surface rust first.

i generally buy 75% on things for my cars on ebay like this but ebay could not beat it ,like the hoses an power steering kit also was a better deal on ebay ,but say like power steering pump wich i think will be ok ,the better deal is at auto zone

come on SPRING ,its funny how we think we are going to do just a few things an a few more an a few more to our cars ehheehe, but the frame parts are a no brainer for any 4th gen guy

well now that we got the gm power steering cooler out,if you got one get it out before it leaks into your radiator, replaced all hoses ,now i am taking it for another flush to a place that has allways done well with it.they worked on my 95 z28 before i did alot of work, want to make sure no air in system an 55 45 dexcool an any other fluid gone,i know there are people on the net saying dont use it,but every 3 years will change it now

there doing the tune up an slp exhaust too,an with the rain all day an cold for $350.00 i would rather pay a bit more ,an save time ,the rest me an my buddie will due ,other then the trans service too, they due for $159.00 with 2 new selonoids ,though i supply the parts an get to watch all the work being done ,my back has been a wreck too, some things i just dont want to get on my back for $78,00 for the cat back install i cant do it that cheap its an hour for them couse they have a lift an do it each day

this same guy is going to rent me the lift to do the undercoating an frame connectors rear springs shocks ,front shocks,$35.00 an hour well worth the trade of to me ,about a day to due all that on a lift saves time too oh an the back

Honestly, unless you have if you don't have a 4th gen V6 or LT1 there is not a lot going on. Just look at the post counts on the right side of the pages. I get my LS1 info off another form.

I did read your above post but assumed our cars where different. Mine only has 2 belts and 2 tensioners and I replaced them with a few month. I just had a little chirp but when I checked them neither had free movement. I got everything from Rock auto and it did not cost that much.

Also this separate project fold has always gotten less views. If you look at my project 96 thread and see how many view that had 98% of those where before the project section started. Threads in the general section get more views from newbes. Its a real motivator when doing a project.

new Exhaust tune up like night an day ,car has a nice muscle car sound ,when you get it to about 4500 rpms it roars slp loud mouth lives up to the name,i think the wheels just go with the car ,

not all shiny like the 95 406 but fits the bill i think ,will see if the zr1 wheels get kept or not, just needs wax now, even at start up these cars are just too quiet with stock exhaust the ls1 has a sound all its own throaty but ,not to loud like the 406 is ,therewas a day when i would have said never too loud ,cruising the sound normal get on it then it roars[/IMG]
