otherwise the car is runing alot better they were original plugs an wires gas filter ,so alot better but still something there dont seem to big though, dealing with the sencors i have not done much

so showed no codes ,i do note the car runs so much better with the tune up before it had bit of shake at idle gone now just a stumble at certain times, hard to explain. i did clear the ready thing for the battery being unhooked ,so should be past ready for the inspection sticker ,did not use this much on my lt1 ,so getting to know codes ,seems its very easy to use the code reader though

??trying to find commen codes for the 2002 z28 ,someone said some codes you can clear but they come back with in a certain amount of time

getting flurries supposed to be like 50 tomorrow then 70 this weekend ,looks like chilly spring though so far suks.

i am thinking that could injector needs cleaned ,i am going to try to some seafoam in the gas or fuel injector cleaner, seems they took good care of the oil ,but never replaced anything thing else on the car other then brakes an tires an rims cant wait to due the rear suspesion an get the whole under side of the car blacked out first

well from what i am finding with this stumble ,i am going to start with maf & throttle body cleaner ,clean the map sencor ,i also did read these 2002 engines are kinda noisey ,an also think about replacing the 2 front 02 sencors,an just a good over all cleaning of the engine ,other suggetions welcome

i also think i may have the noted piston slap EDIT any year from 97 on ,will run 10 w 40 full syn.funny thing as clean as it is inside the car ,an the oil as clean as i have seen ,for 90k car,it needs mush tlc that others just dont seem to think about when they get near 100k

good thing is it mostly seems to add up to small things ,then onto a trans service

All for those that dont log in may get something out of the thread ,most of what we i learn are from others threads an the internet highway, even if no chimes in ,documintation helps others

first thing i would do is have the injectors cleaned and flow tested. done it to every used car i have bought with injectors and all have had at least one bad one. the factory parameters are ok for regular use,,, only way i could think of putting it,, lol, but can cause minor issues like stumbling or hesitation. if your out for performance you want the flow in all of them to be as close as possible.

ls1 cars drive more like a vette notation to myself an sound way different then the lt1 an more like a c5 ,now i see why people want them haulin butt

fuel injector cleaner in the tank is helping alot with tune up ,don think it got driven alot the last year ,got to get the pullies done now,but not yet ,first is wax detail an paint the under body ,couple days

update got all my body braces ready to install I did the engine brace panhard bar,the rear shocks an insulaters rear frame conectors frame connectors its like 8 piece kit usa made I got ,the car has proved itself ,took for ever to get the oil out of my radiator after the power steering hose leak ,some paint comeing ,so with 90k I think its a good car only drove it like 1k last year ,but this year a lot more ,no oil leaks ,also the pullies an belts should run well then ,love the ls1 platform leaveing it stock for now other then the cat back ,go other hobbies ,had fun with these cars

yes that top hose why it was on my z28 I don't know ,but the cars don't need power steering coolers unless you want one ,must have been a option for the z28 took like 8 gallons of water 6 flushes later pretty much gone ,not to mention 6 gallons of anti freeze ,if it happen to you flush it like 8 times before you replace the anti freeze

Default Hi gorn

yes the gto very rare nice cars ,I think as far as looks with the 4th gens my 95 gets more looks still after an complements then my white 2002 wich gets a few nice car man ,but the 95 406 98 -02 ss clone still gets a ton more attention, though its gone this year no matter what I have a friend selling it for me ,we are going to put it on his lot ,soon it ran good all last year ,but It needs a guy who wants to do all his own work,i have got into shooting higher powered air rifles an such my honda clone an the 2002 z28 is a keeper ,its funny my 99 red vs with the trim got a lot of attention too,

yes what happened was I some how forgot my password ,then could not reach anyone still plan to be around a bit more,i think color plays a big role people like chrome rims too as well as the 98 to 02 ss in red the brighter colors people just like ,put that together an people love a car that shines all the time ,also in the country Vs the city people seem to like cars weather they are flashy or not rare an old is fine in the country add flashy adds more with v8 cars even some v6 cars wit the right trim too ,in the city its all about the flashy car I think
