Default 1996 RS v6 window nuts and bolts

Hey, I’m really clueless on these type of things. Im trying to get my window fixed, it’s missing motor parts and nuts and bolts. I’ve taken it to a shop and they say they can fix it and buy the motor parts but I need to supply nuts and bolts to connect the motor and the door. Does anyone know what kinds I need for this exactly?

Best bet is probably a u-pull-it wrecking yard.

The factory power motor was installed with pop rivets. You have to drill these out. GM normally wants you to replace them with rivets, that would be a real pain in the fourth gen. I believe this means the regulator must come out. Most after market motors come with all the mounting hardware. Check out Dorman 742-101 to see what I am talking about,

Direct factory replacement kit. ( this is what I would have had to use at the dealer)
Amazon Amazon

If the mechanic knew the size of the rivet head he was replacing he could just find the right screw based on diameter and match that with a nut and cut it to length and use lock-tight. Every mechanic should have access to a variety of nuts and bolts, most have large bins of nuts bolts washers etc. If I can do it in my garage any mechanic should be able to do it.
