Default power window motor install gone wrong

Ok first of all, this had the best info for me but where is part 2? http://www.firebirdnation.com/pdf/windowreplacement.pdf

I got the motor put in the passenger side. I've seen 2 ways to do this. One was moving the whole thing (assembly with wheels) out before taking motor off. This was after I had already did my attempt and I didnt remove the entire thing although the wheels did end up coming out of the channels while it was in there. I got it all back in and the window wouldnt go up the last 2 inches or so. What did I do wrong? I spent ALL day yesterday which was my bday trying to do this. I am taking it to the shop to finish monday if I can't get it done myself. I dont like to give up easy so maybe fiddling with it a few more times will make this clearer than mud.

Here is part 2: http://www.firebirdnation.com/pdf/wi...placement2.pdf
But I had to try the link several times before it appeared.

As for the window stopping before it's all the way up, did you use bolts to mount the motor assembly? If so, the bolts may be too long and may be catching the sector (big gear) arm on it's way up. The bolts have the be the very shortest available with no threads showing out of the nut, or be rivets.

I used the bolts that were on it. It had been changed out before. I loosened, repositioned and tightened and now it feels more snug but still wants to slide down fourth an inch. Sounds like motor isnt connecting big gear but i didnt mess with bolts on it last time. Dont know why it would of shifted. I may toy around once more and then i will let shop do it. I like doing this stuff when it works lol.

theres a adjustable stop at the top of the door on the inside. you may need to adjust that. Adjust Door Window

Well i put car in shop last thursday. 6 days ago! And for what?? Finish my window, change oil, intermitent brake light issues and check out my cluster. Didnt think it would take more than a day honestly. Problem is they are insisting that a part is missing. A side window guide? I never took anything out but the motor and some bolts. Someone had gotten in there before me cause rivets were already gone. So i know for a FACT i did not lose anything. This window worked fine just slow. It was in there straight and tight. Is there another possibility here??
