my beer fridge is in the basement the picture is from a bad angle, you can't see any of the tools I have. The toolbox is in the corner behind the car, and the engine hoist, floor jack, jack stands, and ramps are all along the near wall.

I replaced the engine which spun a bearing at the drag strip, then the motor that I replaced it with then failed after I got the car back together. So the new motor needs to be removed and repaired, basically starting from square 1. I'm literally no closer to finishing this thing than I was a year ago, after spending hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on it.

AAAHHHH I see ,yes going to the track is a costly thing ,,though sometimes I feel like joining the 150mph club ,I guess It could be cheaper to go on the Richard petty experience at the racetrack ,if I win the lottery I would Travel ,an run cars at the drag strip or local modifieds ,I guess that can cost $50,000 for a good car per year atleast ,well I am happy to hear there are others spending thousands to I meen that in a good way ,an good luck with the build

Finally got around to actually doing some work on this thing over the weekend. Pretty much just gutting in preparation for the engine removal. Next step is gonna be dropping the k-member and getting the motor out.

So far, so good! It will probably be a little tricky getting the motor out, but it was nice to work in the garage with the shop lights and the overhead extension cord reel.
