Default Security light wont go out.

Quick question, i swapped out my 94 camaro's radio for another Delco radio. The radio is from a cutlass. Same era. Camaros harness connected right up. While i was in the dash replaced all the bulbs. I am 100% sure the bulb was working before replacement. Question is can my new radio cause the security light to stay illuminated? And if so, is there a procedure to turn it off? 3.4L if it matters.

I believe there is a security code for radio, other later year owners/techs may have an answer for this event.
Security code not satisfied, no OFF Security light.

sounds like vats is not happy. may have malfunctioned when it was in use. better check bulb an see if it was failing. also how long you had the car, previous owner may have pulled it just enough to make it go out. look at 25 26 27 here 4th Gen LT1 F-Body Tech Aids

I am the original owner. The light worked before i changed all the bulbs. I replaced them all because they started to burn out. Both blinker bulbs and the seat belt lights were out.

gonna need to make sure your vats is working right, if you moved the column or was digging around under the dash in the column area you may have disturbed the wire from the key to the module harness.
