Default Need new dashboard....or cover.

Title says it all guys. I bought my 96 rs two years ago and on the passanger side there was a noticable crack on the dash, but since then all the driving a bumps in the road have made it spider web out and now its completely thrashed. Ive glued a few of the main pieces together jut so it can stay in place. So short of just gluing it all back together, are there any polymer (sp?) covers i could get my hands on or should i just rig it up and throw a carpet cover over it?

yeah mine is cracking also I heard armor all isn't good on interior so if you use that to clean the inside of your car you should stop and get a different brand.

Ebay will have some but they are pretty expensive. I'm gonna go to the local pick and pull cuz you can find some good stuff there for cheap. If I were you I would look at a pick and pull first then if that doesn't work then ebay will help but like I said and craby said their expensive and I don't know why lol

hey what I did was for $10 I got some black loose carpet from wal-mart and some spray glue. I cut it to the size of the broken dash and glued it to the dash. I like the way it looks and blocks the reflection of the sun. I'm doing this till I can get a new one. They are expensive like Craby said. I wonder if they have any polyurethan ones out there that won't crack after 10 years of sun. hech or at least some painted textured aluminium ones?

My buddy was telling me that theres a company that does poly ones but he didnt know if they did for camaros (He has a 89 nissan 240) But they make it for his car....WAAAAY Smaller dash board than ours. But that was going to be my next option, To glue most of it together then cover it up. I know O' Reilys can order one for me.

Chaotic94 has a build thread on here where his dash was all cracked and beat up too. He fiberglassed everything together and then I believe wrapped in in vinyl. It looked pretty good. He has 70pgs on his build thread so it'll take some searching or just PM him.
