Recently bought a 95 camaro 3.4l 5 speed. The cigarette lighter panel was missing and had a aftermarket cigarette lighter hooked up and There is a random plug eith the cigarette lighter wires. Its plugged into nothing, Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be with the cigarette lighter. Thanks in advance.
The 1995 Owners Manual shows the area would have the cigarette lighter, traction control and convertible top switches (if equipped).
Thank you, mine is a t top so i know the convertible switch wasnt there. Would the plug be there if the car isnt equipped with the Acceleration Slip Regulation?

That is something I can't answer, but it is possible. If the car came with the option, NW9 should be shown on the Service Parts Identification label on the driver door.
After thinking about this for a while, the thought came to me to check a schematic to see how many conductors would have gone to the ASR switch and what colors they were. As you see in the picture below, they match with what is shown in your picture.
Yeah that sticker is no longer readable lol But i did check the parts identification sticker in the glovebox and It does not say NW9 on the list so i will be looking for a cigarette lighter plate meant for non ASR model cars. Thank you very much for your help.
It'll have the wiring for it even if the car was not equipped. It's easier (and cheaper) to make one harness that fits all the cars, rather than make one for each individual option.
