Default a little shifter mod I like doing

on the shifter if you head to the wrecking yard grab a shifter handle and boot from any gm, grand am, grans prix and such, remove the plastic from the bottom side of the boot and hand mold it around the u shape of the shifter housing then put it back together and message it into how you want it to look, stick on the T handle and your done.. I've done this to all 3 of my Camaro's I can't stand the metal bar sticking up nor the shift handle they come with.. These are leather also..

That's what I did when my bro wrecked his Grand Am. Took the shifter boot and e-brake boot out and put them in my car. Looks nicer but I like the stock **** more than the Pontiac ones.

I never liked the Grand Am shifter...I used to have a Grand Prix shifter on my old GA.

Why not swap the GA shifter for a GP one? They're also made from leather and would accent the car better.
