Bose ground wiring
#3
I just disconnected the original ground from the connector and grounded to the seat belt bolt. That fixed the noise, but I would like it to work off the original ground. I like to keep my stuff stock the most I can.
I found in the wiring diagram that the sub amp ground splices together with the 2 door speakers and bose relay, then hook up under the passenger side panel to a grounded bolt, but when i disconnect it the speakers still work. I need to find the spot they splice but its all up in the dash somewhere.

You ever try hitting the sub box and see if it buzzes? It might just be something inside that box loose. I read that the bose relay can cause noise problems when going bad but I can't find its spot. Its said to be under the center air duct but I don't see it.

I didn't know about the sub box. I have the original radio for the car but it only worked once in a while, I was told its possible its a bad speaker or lose ground. I have a after market radio in now but I want the original in instead.

I was told a ground might be the problem too. So every ground I found I cleaned off with a wirebrush and it still pops with brake pedal pushed.
