Default back speakers.

Hi i just replaced my rear speakers in my 1995 Camaro but the sound isn't loud at all, any suggestions?

what was in it stock? what head unit are you using now? what speakers are you using? any amps?

The speakers are boss hooked up to a dual stereo deck.

not enough info. what is the model numbers of all. need to know what amps the stereo is putting out and what the amp the speakers will handle. if you have a stereo thats putting out low amps and speakers that are high amp the sound is not gona be good. they need to be matched.

That does not help much. You running an amp? What "dual stereo deck" is it? The rear speakers are only what 6.5"? They certainly wont rattle the windows.

Yeah the speakers are 6.5 with a peak of 400 watts

Well for one thing your speakers are way overrated for your head unit.

yep need a amp for them speakers.

And a cross over so you dont blow them. 6.5" speaker can only go so low. Add a subwoofer.

The stock speakers in the backseat won't be loud. They are mids, and really don't get a lot of use. I have to fade my music to 75% to the back in order to hit them....but then again I want to completely overhaul my speaker system.
