I'm redoing the interior of my 96 Z28 with parts from my wrecked 95. Both had the tan leather interior.

First of all, I'm having trouble removing the console. It looks like I need to remove the e-brake handle, but I don't know how to do it.

Also, I plan on swapping out the floor carpeting in the two cars. Is there anything in particular I should keep in mind before I attempt it?
