I have a 94 3.4L camaro and the R A P module is bad GM wants $118.00 for new one i was wondering if anyone knew a good way to bypass one so that the radio and windows had power when the switch was turned on

 

It can be done, but every thing controlled by the RAP will have to be rewired, and it will cost more than $118. Try to get one from a salvage yard.

 

i had the same issue and talked with a GM mechanic. he said this and i tried it on my 95. it worked for the most part but you didnt get the side mirrors to move or other creature features. I ended up buying a new one.
"Unplug the harness connector from the RAP module. On the harness connector, jumper from cavity B (dark blue) to D (brown)."
