I wouldn't mess with the odometer. It looks pink when you take pics of it. But it's still red. It's too risky of screwing it up because you have to tear it apart.

Can I also do this to remove that peski Security light? It stays on even though my car works fine. Its been on for over 2 years and it has bugged me every day.

Yup you can remove the security light. It's easy.

Hey man I took the security light out, took me about 2 hours only cuz I had a little trouble getting those screws under the dash out, was trying to be super careful not to break it. I didn't have 7mm wrench so I used some regular pliers to loosen them just a tad bit, then used the 7mm socket and turned it with my hand. Thanks for the steps.

Heres that annoying "Security" Light

Heres everything back to normal. Yay no security light. I took it for a test drive and everything seemed normal. Thanks again for the steps.

And last but not least, the close up. Yes my car is on.

Looks great man. Gad I was able to help you out. And yeah those screws under the dash pad are the worst part of the whole process. Everything else is easy

Is it basically the same process for the 98-02 camaro's? Was thinking about changing to LED's.
