I am a new proud owner of a 94 Z28.

I bought this car and during the test drive I tested the windshield wipers and they work however they didn't go all the way down. We left the keys in the ignition and a few minutes later the wipers went back down.

Last week I used the wipers again and they didn't go back down. Half way to work they went back down.

It's been raining for the last week and they won't go all the way back down anymore.

Is there a relay that I need to replace?

Is the motor going out?

 

I have a 94z too and the same thing happened. It worked then half the time it didnt go back down, now it doesnt go back down at all. I tried to reset the computer but that didnt work. Maybe I didnt do it right. Sorry not much of a help, I need an answer too.

 

i have this same issue with my wipers.i bought new part using this site windshield wiper motor online and installed it for more than an hour. after 2 weeks my car still having some issues. i brought my vehicle to carshop to check then they replaced the bad switch or relay. finally worked after 3months observation.

 

sounds like the pulse curcuit board is failing.
