Default Will a 350 with a 4-barrell carb fit in a 95?

Right now I have a 3.4L and I wanted to upgrade to a bigger engine but dont wanna go through the hassle and expenses of changing over the ecm and wiring. I was thinking of putting something with a 350 block in it and just switching over to carburated but it looks like a tight fit height-wise. Anyone have a carburated 4th gen camaro or know if it will or will not fit? The engine sits back so far in these cars I can't see just adding a hood scoop as a solution to the engine being too tall working here.

Any insight into this problem wuld be appreciated

I have seen a guy rebuild his 95 lt1 to a 383ci stroker and use a MSD distrutator and Holley carb with high-rise intake and hood scoop. I think he had to modify the dash under the windshield to make room, I dont see him anymore since the layoff, so i cannot get pics. Keep checking here, i'm sure someone has more info on that.

Go over and read the sticky about v6-v8 swap in the v6 section. There is a lot of good information posted. Converting one of these cars to no computer can be a lot of work. More work then a convertion. There is a member that has done it.
