Whining noise from my Z28?

that could be the bcm. theres a write up on it in the how to faq sticky.

no but the you said the noise was not effected by the air vent system.

No issues with the dash lights or any of that. Just all 4 of my interior speakers are static and high pitched whining even when the stereo is turned off. It is linked somehow to my air system cuz increasing the air flow through the vents will sometimes increase the static with the speakers.

I dont think it is my alternator because nothing is going out and I always have power to everything. I think it's my amps, although im not sure how to start checking those since I didnt install them. And I'm still not sure how increasing the air flow power through the vents causes more static and stuff. Just seems like a really weird random problem.

Im assuming grounding problem somehow or my amps are malfunctioning. Also all the electricity is flowing through to the amps even when the stereo is off so that might be why the speakers are constantly whining and static even when it is off.
