Camaro 69 yeah thats the only reason I'm even considering the Firebird ones. The other ad didn't specify if they were winter tires. Just says 90% tread on 2. I contacted them just waiting on a call back.

If its temporary, just get the cheapest ones IMO.

I found the other ones too. The tread design of the Firebird tires are going to do you much better in the snow.

Long story short, things didn't work out. I might end up just getting some new tires tomorrow unless I run across another deal like this.

Wow really? Hmmm I'll check that out. I've never bought used tires before but when I went onto NTB's website I noticed they have a section to buy them used as well after being inspected. Thanks for the tip.

This place is like 5 miles from my house. Maybe you have something near you like this. They sell some new tires, normally last years models that ended up as overstock, 60% of the cost of what they cost from a regular tire place.

There are a few used tire places in the Chicago area. I would not buy unmounted used tires from a place that can't mount and balance them for you though. A used tire could have a small hole that you might not be able to spot until it gets mounted. If a hole is in the sidewall, or even at the sidewall to tread transition area, the tire is junk. Another issue is aged tires with surface cracking, stay away from those too.
