Default Opinion on 96 Z28

A friend is looking at buying this car,

Are there certain things we should look for? Is the price a bit high?
Should we try and get a LS1 engine instead?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

It seems like a fair price to me, but its not some sweet deal. Its got low mileage which is what I prefer in buying used.

Do the tops have a tendency to leak like the old ones?

ive never had tops leak and im two 4th gens with ttops down, few buddys, none of theirs leak....

the price of camaros must be high out there, id pay about 6k for that car here, maybe 5500
