Default What is this part? Mechanic doesn't even know...

My Camaro shakes once it gets over 45 mph. I took it into the shop and he said this part was cracked. It bolts onto the side of the transmission. The dealer said it was discontinued, so I need to find the part on eBay/Camaro part store online or somewhere so I can get my Camaro fixed!

If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it! Need to get this fixed.

How about the year and what engine/transmission to start with? For any type of mount Junk yard is going to be the way to go. Ebay may have something. You should have grabed the GM part number as many of us have the parts book. if its just the trans mount then Autozone or like will have it.

You need more posts before you can upload pics, you can post a link from photobucket and that is free.

thats the torque bar mount. is the mount busted or the mout bracket? mount can be found at most parts stores. bracket would be a little harder to find but not bad.

the torque bar mount has a slice in it that looks like a crack. does the torque bar move up and down very much? do you have a 2 peice driveshaft?

oh and use the img code to show picture
